2008 National Healthy Homes Conference 9/15/2008 Register now for the 2008 National Healthy Homes Conference, sponsored by the HUD, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the EPA and the USDA. Members of the health and housing community, federal agencies, community advocates, private industry, and other interested parties will come together to chart the future course and national agenda for healthy housing in America!
This conference will be held in Baltimore, Maryland on September 15-17 to address many important questions about the connection between health, housing, green building, and our indoor environment. 2008 HMIS Training 9/21/2008 Mark your calendars and plan to attend! Registration is now open for HUD’s 2008 HMIS Training on September 21-23, 2008 in Atlanta, GA. The goal of the training is to provide HMIS stakeholders with an important opportunity to learn about HUD’s evolving vision for HMIS and electronic reporting.
The sessions will train participants on the tools necessary to: understand the proposed revisions to HUD’s HMIS Data and Technical Standards, prepare for changes to the new HMIS-based Annual Progress Report (APR), successfully participate in the Annual Homelessness Assessment Report (AHAR), and increase local capacity to measure program- and system-level performance.
