2 If your organization does not have articles of incorporation or bylaws drafted and approved, you will need much more time to complete the preparation steps for the workbook. Your organization may want to postpone beginning the workbook until your board has drafted, revised and approved your articles of incorporation and bylaws.

4 Processing time for Form 1023 is usually 100 days.
5 Facilities are defined as property and equipment that are a permanent part of the organization (including rental projects that the group owns), not housing or buildings intended for sale or transferral to constituents or other organizations.
