Capacity Building Grants

Rural organizations have been historically limited in their ability to access federal assistance and therefore have limited capacity to serve their communities. RHCB will award a total 10 grants of up to $14,000 to support the capacity building efforts of homeless assistance providers working in rural persistent poverty counties. Grants may be used for various purposes depending on the recipient's organizational capacity needs. Funds may be used to purchase computer equipment or software as well as training expenses, related travel, and other costs. In addition to the grant money, HAC and NAEH will provide ongoing technical assistance and capacity building support to awardees.
